I believe that most people are doing the best they can with the tools, experiences, and support they have at the time. Sometimes those tools stop working. Life can be hard. Sometimes it's because of a major loss, trauma, relationship challenge, or unexpected life change. Other times, it's harder to explain. You may find yourself feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, stuck in patterns you can't seem to change, or simply carrying more than anyone was meant to carry alone. Whatever brings you to therapy, it can provide a space to slow down, gain perspective, and begin moving forward again. I provide counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in Kearney, Nebraska, as well as telehealth services for individuals throughout Nebraska. I work alongside my clients to help them better understand themselves, navigate life's challenges, build on their strengths, and create meaningful and lasting change. I believe therapy works best when there is a genuine connection between therapist and client. My approach is warm, authentic, collaborative, and practical. I will meet you where you are, but I will also challenge you when needed, celebrate your progress, and help you recognize strengths you may not yet see in yourself.
